The now renamed SCHOLLGLAS Technik GmbH Berlin will continue to operate as a full-range supplier in the areas of trade and production of insulating glass. In this way, customers in the region will continue to benefit from decades of expertise and a broad product portfolio of specific glass solutions from a single source, while retaining most of their valued contacts. The fact that we were able to offer all employees from the team a long-term, secure perspective led to a joint best performance in integration.
Moreover, it did not “just” stop at the takeover of business operations: A central step into the future was the expansion of trade, production facilities and manufacturing capacities at the new location in Hoppegarten. The structural implementation in the future factory hall was completed within a few weeks, and after a small inauguration ceremony, regular operations at the new production facility began. We are proud of optimized, very efficient production, combined with compliance with high quality and sustainability standards for our customers in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.
