Insulating glass with impact-resistant function
In the design of representative shop fronts and bright welcome areas of public buildings, large-scale glass elements are still in vogue. To ward off the unfortunately always threatening occasional vandalism, impact-resistant insulating glass offers basic security, for example against thrown bottles or stones. GEWE-therm® glass with impact resistance also meets all requirements with regard to building authority specifications and safety standards – and can be easily combined with other functions, such as thermal insulation, sun protection or sound insulation. In this way, security becomes an integral part of the building envelope – unobtrusive, powerful and durable.
