Horticultural Glass

Horticultural glass is used in professional horticulture. It is divided into two types:

Garden bright glass is a soda-lime glass produced in the float or drawing process with two relatively smooth surfaces. It may have slight streaks and streaks when viewed through.

Similar to structured design glass, a corrigged structure is embossed into the surface on one side by means of a pair of rollers. The side without an embossed structure is similarly smooth as that of garden bright glass. This smoother surface is typically installed in the greenhouse facing outwards.

The second type of horticultural glass diffuses the incident sunlight in the greenhouse – a property that quickly made it a classic for professional gardeners: because the corbelled surface of the glass ensures an even distribution of light in the room, which reduces shadows and promotes homogeneous plant growth
