Corrosion-resistant glass with metal oxide coating

Bright, open-plan bathrooms and wellness areas rely on a central element: glass. Whether as a partition wall or shower enclosure – real glass gives the room modern elegance, but only as long as it remains immaculate. Due to daily use, contact with care products as well as limescale deposits and dirt, glass is exposed to high stresses. Standard shower glass often loses its shine quickly, unsightly stains appear, and in the worst case, glass corrosion can occur.

This is where TIMELESS lenses^® from our partner Saint Gobain Germany come into play: A special metal oxide coating reliably protects the stressed panes from limescale, dirt and corrosion. In contrast to conventional Lotus coatings, the innovative metal oxide coating is already applied during the production process and activated during tempering. This means that the protection is maintained permanently.

The high-quality toughened safety glass PLANICLEAR serves as the basis. It impresses with its high stability, brilliant transparency and a neutral colour scheme – ideal for shower cubicles as well as partitions for showers and bathtubs.

The coating of the TIMELESS glasses^® is applied in a special magnetron process, in which a metal oxide layer is firmly bonded to the glass. This is calculated according to cutting and, if necessary. further printing through the tempering process activates and protects the glass from corrosion in the long term. In this way, the brilliance is maintained for years.
