Drying agent for insulating glass
GEWE-sorb®
The drying agent for insulating glass GEWE-sorb® is the SCHOLLGLAS corporate group’s registered trademark for a molecular sieve used for applications in the spacer areas of composite glass laminates.
The product palette covers here standard particle size ranges of 0.5 to 0.9 mm and 1.0 to 1.5 mm as well as particle sizes specified by the customer.
Containers are available in the following sizes: 650 kg BigBag, 150 kg steel drum, 25 kg carton.
The application scope consists of hollow profile spacer bars filled with molecular sieve 3A to prevent any condensate from forming in between the window panes once the insulated glass unit is finished.
GEWE-sorb® is a proofed product according to DIN EN 1279, confirmed by the independent testing institutes ift Rosenheim and TÜV Rheinland Nederland B.V.
The GGF Gütegemeinschaft Flachglas e. V. (Flat Glass Quality Association) has awarded GEWE-sorb® the right to bear the quality mark for multi-pane insulating glass for components RAL-GZ 520/2-2 (desiccant).
GEWE-sorb® is also constantly tested by our in-house laboratory to ensure consistently high quality at all times.
