SCHOLLGLAS Technik GmbH Lommatzsch, located not far from Meissen (Saxony), is a highly specialised plant for the production and finishing of float and toughened safety glass. Originating in 1992 from a former mirror factory in the GDR, the company was completely repositioned at the time, has been steadily expanded since then and is now a workplace for around 100 employees on weekdays. These give thousands of glass units their specific face every day, for example for glass interior doors, partition walls, parapet glass or shower cubicles – perfectly cut, drilled, sandblasted, screen-printed and much more according to customer requirements.

The industrial processing of glass as a material has a tradition of over 125 years in Lommatzsch, and nevertheless human knowledge, product portfolio, manufacturing methods, and production facilities around glass have revolutionized themselves again and again over the decades.
With a sophisticated range of instruments consisting of cutting tables, a CNC waterjet cutting machine, grinding systems, sandblasting machines, an ESG oven, a large screen printing department and much more, SCHOLLGLAS Technik Lommatzsch GmbH ensures that glass is not only transparent, but also particularly varied and impressive.
Our exciting business model for flat glass offers a wide range of jobs at all qualification levels along the process chain – in the commercial as well as in the commercial sector. For example, our colleagues work in internal and external sales, in work preparation, of course in production itself on the machines, in shipping or as drivers of our modern delivery fleet, with which we bring our glass to the customer. Last but not least, we employ specialists for quality assurance, maintenance and development of our large machine park.
