In a varied field of activity, you will learn how to set up, commission and operate production machines and systems. You will prepare work processes, check the functions of the machines and put them into operation. The monitoring and safeguarding of the manufacturing process as well as the documentation of production data are just as much a part of the training as the implementation of quality assurance measures.

Internal training courses also teach exam-relevant content that cannot be covered in the specialist departments.
A good secondary school leaving certificate is desirable. Care is required to adjust the production machines and to observe the machine running in order to detect malfunctions at an early stage. Knowledge of technology is an advantage in order to be able to control and maintain machines and systems. Knowledge of physics is essential for understanding machine functions as well as for troubleshooting and the application of various test methods. In addition, you should be physically fit and like to get hands-on.
