In a varied field of activity, you will learn how to design glass, how to carry out all glazing work, how to take measurements on construction sites and in private households. The ability to recognize technical relationships and to work on them carefully is a matter of course for you at the end of the training. You will also be involved in advising customers.

Mutual appreciation and trust, loyalty and humanity are our top priorities. Our goal is to support our trainees in achieving good performance at the vocational school as well as in the company in order to take them on in a permanent employment relationship even after their training. Internal training courses also teach exam-relevant content that cannot be covered in the specialist departments.
A secondary school leaving certificate is desirable. Care is absolutely necessary, as glass is very fragile, but also because components and façade elements must be manufactured to measure and often have a visually appealing or representative function. In order not to endanger the safety of colleagues and passers-by, prudence is also very important when handling glass. Skills and abilities in works and technology are necessary, for example, when grinding glass edges or assembling doors and windows. In order to calculate areas and material requirements, knowledge of mathematics should be available. In addition, you should be physically fit and like to get hands-on.
