Passenger shelters, bicycle shelters and smoking pavilions
They are places of encounter, waiting and brief rest in the midst of hectic life: protective structures that mitigate the harshness of the weather with their roofs and outer walls.
Whether bus shelters, smoking pavilions, bicycle shelters or vending machine roofs – the urban objects effectively keep wind, precipitation and cold away from their visitors, and exude the charm of functional buildings to design pieces with a feel-good character. Windproof glass surfaces of the vertical glazing made of ESG contribute to the modern, friendly atmosphere, which can be printed in a contemporary way with an individual pane décor (e.g. logos, coats of arms) or bird protection patterns.
The different roof constructions in the form of a lect, trough or gable have in common the material of the roofing: Laminated safety glass (LSG) must be used as overhead glazing, optional décor prints and solid-coloured intermediate films also elegantly protect against blazing sunlight at this point. The designs of the glass panes and the thickness of the PE film are measured according to DIN 18008.
