Fonts, logos and graphic elements look particularly high-quality under the depth impression of clear glass printed on the back, with its reflections and refraction on polished edges. The easy maintenance of the resistant surfaces speaks for itself and explains why flat glass has also established itself as a popular material for display boards and information signs in public spaces. Printing can be carried out by foiling, screen printing (e.g. for small series) or digital printing with ceramic inks; for particularly discreet holders of the glass information boards, point holders are available, which are screwed directly to a wall or an attractive support construction.

In order to achieve higher impact resistance and better stability against wind loads, the panes, which are usually 8 to 10 mm thick, are preferably processed into toughened or laminated safety glass – the latter with the advantage that the printed carrier of the layout is particularly protected in the central layer layer between the lenses.
