There are a variety of mechanical solutions for every interior design installation situation: as swing doors, linear sliding doors, telescopic sliding doors, angled sliding doors, arched sliding doors and revolving doors, the automatic glass sashes have long been present everywhere. Due to their sophisticated drives, all shapes can also be used in escape and rescue routes, for example in hospitals or airports. As a particularly energy-efficient, permanent room closure, revolving doors create an attractive transition zone between indoor and outdoor areas for highly frequented entrances, e.g. to shopping malls or car dealerships.

The glass for the sashes and side panels of automatic door systems varies greatly, depending on the design and installation situation, the legal requirements for the intended use and the manufacturer of the profile systems used: As exterior door elements, panes made of 2- or 3-fold insulating glass defy the thermal challenges – cold and heat. In the interior of buildings, the glass is usually made of ESG and LSG, in the private sector float glass (8 to 12 mm thick) can also be used. Particularly interesting options for automatic doors in the corporate sector: digital and screen printing of exclusive designs, fire protection glass and burglar-resistant insulating glass. The glasses for use in public spaces are subject to approval.

Whether it’s smart automatic doors for modern glass façades with high design standards, effective vestibule systems with linear sliding doors or representative building entrances with the largest possible opening widths: automatic doors are practical and as individual as life.
