As dazzling as the material is, so are the pieces of furniture themselves. From cuboid aquariums to glass shelves, glass couch, dining and side tables, glass sideboards and lowboards, glass consoles for desks or glass furniture for multimedia to glass showcases in which favourite pieces and accessories can be creatively staged. Thanks to today’s UV bonding technology, often only a few fittings of this furniture – such as hinges, holders for the glass shelves or adjustable feet – are still made of metal. The majority is a transparent structure throughout, which discreetly recedes into the background as a playful, light-looking interior and provides space for the objects that are placed in and on them.

White glass, frosted glass, blue, grey, green or bronze coloured glass have established themselves on the market as standards for glass types compared to “normal” clear glass. More rarely, this is used for this product range as toughened safety glass. Depending on the specified load capacity and design ideas, glass thicknesses between 6 and 12 mm are desired, and even 15 or 19 mm for solid-looking components. Depending on the design and connection geometries, the edges of the glass parts are either ground straight, provided with a facet / mitre grind or polished to a high gloss. Glass parts that are to be joined directly are joined flush and blunt in our production using the UV bonding process.

The corners of glass plates are usually jointed, i.e. only lightly sanded to minimize the risk of injury. For table tops, however, it is a good idea to sand and polish the corners in any radius.
