In order not to destroy the basic interior design principle of open space, acoustic insulating glass plays a central role in the material mix of the cabins. With their special pane structure, they provide the necessary sound insulation.
The acoustic principles used for the function of soundproofing insulating glass are mainly the largest possible mass or thickness of the base glass used, the use of an laminated safety glass layer (possibly enhanced with a special acoustic PVB film), the introduction of noble gas (krypton) in the space between the panes and an asymmetrical structure of the glass units.
